Sustainability Statement
General sustainability statement
Sustainability is important to Bamber Lake Activewear. We’re getting greener every step of the way—and we’ll keep giving you quality products at affordable prices.
The fashion industry is a major contributor to environmental damage. About 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry ends in landfills, and one out of every five items produced by the fashion industry is never worn.
As Bamber Lake Activewear works with on-demand suppliers, we only produce items we get an order for, avoiding textile waste from overproduction. Our printing partners are high quality and use less energy than standard industry printers.
Information and production
Each product you see in our catalog is made specifically for you when you place an order. This allows us to avoid overproduction in textile waste and continually work toward greener production.

Information about printing tech and materials
Information about direct-to-garment printing
NOTE: This method is typically used for products with high cotton fabric content, like t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, etc.
Our clothing designs are fulfilled using various methods. Many of our products are printed with direct-to-garment (DTG) technique, which uses less water and energy than standard industry printers. We use cornet printers that generate almost 0 waste water, and use less energy than standard industry printers.
Our inks are Oeko-Tex certified, vegan, water-based and free of harmful chemicals. Bamber Lake Activewear takes sustainability seriously—that’s why we dispose of leftovers according to our suppliers guidelines.
Information about embroidery
At Bamber Lake Activewear our products are embroidered with Oeko-Tex certified thread, making them safe for both adults and children clothing. Embroidery is generally more durable than printing, and produces less environmental waste.
Eco-friendly product materials
We consider Bamber Lake Activewear to be a sustainable brand because we design and produce clothing from at least 70% organic or recycled materials, or a mix of these materials.
Statement about production times
All products in our catalog are made-on-demand. This means that once you place your order, we start working to get it to you. It takes time for us to create and send out the product, but by making each order on-demand, we avoid overproduction. This way we can take care of you and the planet we all share.

Product Packaging*
[*NOTE: this information applies to our in-house facilities. Apparel products that are fulfilled in our partner facilities might be packaged differently.]
At Bamber Lake Activewear all apparel products are packaged in recycled plastic mailers. The amount of post-consumer material used in your package will vary, depending on where it was printed, but it’s at least 50% for the outside (white or grey) poly mailer bags and at least 30% for the outside (clear)
bags used in multi-item shipments.
PCR packaging is made from everyday plastic items, like plastic bags and bottles. This material protects your order just as well as regular plastic, but choosing PCR over first-use plastics reduces the environmental impact that plastic has on our planet.
